Maria Foslie is a Norwegian artist working primarily with painting and drawing. Her practice explores the relationship between gesture, colour and materiality, moving between oil stick, oil paint, acrylic and watercolour. Her work explores the intuitive and tactile aspects of making, allowing images to develop through experimentation, layering and repetition.
